JICA organised 10th Project Director’s Conference. PD, OFSDP deliberated at the meeting of JICA-Assisted Forestry & Natural Resource Management Projects
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) India office organised the 10th edition of the Project Directors Meeting of JICA-Supported Forestry & Natural Resource Management Projects, in New Delhi, on 20th September 2019.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Mr. Katsuo Matsumoto, Chief Representative, JICA India Office, New Delhi and it was attended by Addl. D.G Forest MoEF& CC, GOI; Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance, GOI; and Additional Director General (ADG), MoEF&CC, GOI.
Heads of JICA-supported forestry projects of Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Tripura, Sikkim and Nagaland made technical presentations on sustainable forest management in this meeting as per the agenda communicated.
Shri L.K.Tewari, Project Director, OFSDP-II made a presentation on this occasion in which the plans and progress under OFSDP-II were flagged.
