OFSDS adjudged as the best stall in for the fifth consecutive year in 18th State level Kalinga Herbal Fair 2025:
The Odisha Forestry Sector Development Society (OFSDS) participated in the 18th State Level Kalinga Herbal Fair 2025, held from 10th to 16th December 2025 at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar. The fair was organized by the State Medicinal Plant Board, Government of Odisha, and continued for seven days. OFSDS was also adjudged as the Best Stall in Government segment with maximum participation from VSSs and SHGs representing forest fringe communities for the fifth consecutive year.
A total of 12 Self Help Groups (SHGs) from 12 Forest Divisions operating under OFSDP-II, AJY, and OFSDS-OMBADC participated in the event. 42 members representing SHGs and Vana Surakhya Samitis (VSSs) from forest divisions including Athamallik, Baripada, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Ghumusur-South, Ghumusur-North, Jharsuguda, Karanjia, Rairangpur, Keonjhar, Rourkela, and Bonai took part in the seven-day fair.
